Unlike scrubs or loofahs, the Original Premium Exfoliating Mitt (along with our other viscose products) uses a time-tested exfoliation method that relies on the unique texture of viscose fabric and gentle friction on well-softened skin. Instead of spreading products or using harsh particles, it effectively lifts away dead skin, buildup, and impurities—revealing smoother, softer skin you can see and feel after just one use.

Note: Not everyone will visibly see dead skin roll off, and that’s completely normal. If your skin has been recently exfoliated, there may be less buildup to remove. As long as your skin feels smoother afterward, it’s working.

No matter which you choose, all are designed to effectively remove buildup and reveal smoother, softer skin—it simply comes down to your preferred level of intensity and experience.

For best results, soak your skin in warm water for at least 15 minutes (bath or shower) to fully soften it. You can cleanse beforehand—just make sure all cleanser is fully rinsed off before exfoliating. Dampen the mitt, wring it out, and step away from the water stream. Gently massage your skin using back-and-forth or circular motions—no products needed. You’ll begin to see dead skin and buildup roll away. Rinse thoroughly, then apply moisturizer to lock in hydration and protect your freshly exfoliated skin.

For the traditional deep exfoliation method (on soaked skin without cleansers), we recommend using the mitt up to once per week. For a lighter exfoliation (such as with a cleanser), you can use it a few times per week depending on your skin’s sensitivity. Adjust frequency based on how your skin responds.

Yes, with the right approach. The mitt provides deeper exfoliation, so those with sensitive skin should use lighter pressure and limit use to less frequent sessions. For a gentler experience, use it with a cleanser to reduce friction. Start slow and avoid overly delicate areas to prevent irritation.

The Original Premium Exfoliating Mitt is designed for most areas of the body, such as arms, legs, and torso. For more delicate areas like the face, chest, or bikini line, we recommend using our other Seraphic exfoliators specifically designed for those areas to ensure a gentler, more precise treatment.

After each use, rinse the mitt thoroughly and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area. For a deeper clean, hand wash occasionally with a mild soap and rinse well. For best performance and hygiene, we recommend replacing your mitt every 3 months, or sooner with frequent use. Avoid machine washing or drying to help extend its lifespan.
